Blackfly S GigE RTSP support

We have a FLIR bfs-pge-04s2c-cs. We’d like to use this camera to get an RTSP stream but could not find information about that in the documentation, could you pls help us with this problem?

  Hello Berkay,

  Thank you for your question.  Unfortunately, our BFS camera lineup does not output RTSP streams, it will output only GigE Vision.

  There are third party solutions that can convert USB3Vision or GigEVision streams to RTSP, but it is not something we have tested or had feedback on ourselves.  There are hardware solutions such as a Pleora Transcoder, and software solutions such as http://www.ab-soft.com/activedvr.php or writing your own solution using FFMPEG.

  I could not find any open source solutions, but we have worked with AB-Soft before and we know our cameras work with their ActiveUSB and ActiveGigE software.

  I am aware we responded to you through our support ticketing system as well, but I am also following up here in case it helps you or others in the future.
