Video4Linux with BlackFly S BFS-U3-16S2M

Hello,

I'm trying to explore GPU direct memory access capabilities of Video4Linux using a BlackFly S BFS-U3-16S2M. I'm getting an error indicating the VIDIOC_QUERYCAP ioctl call is not supported. My guess is that BlackFly S does not work with Video4Linux but I just want to confirm that that is the case and it's not my program?

  Hello Raymond,

  You are correct, our BFS cameras do not support V4L.

  I am not aware if there are any third party solutions that can convert USB3Vision to V4L.  There may be such a solution out there, but nothing that I could find or that we have been told about from other users.
