FLIR Blackfly camera (BFS-U3-13Y3C-C) not detected by SpinView on Ubuntu 22.04
AnsweredHello,
I purchased the FLIR Blackfly camera (BFS-U3-13Y3C-C) last month. It was working well on windows. I recently switched to Ubuntu 22.04. I have downloaded and installed the required SDKs from the FLIR website. But, the Spinview app does not detect the camera even though I see the green LED lit (in short-short-short pattern) on the camera. Command 'lsusb' also shows that the camera is detected by the USB port.

Hello,
None of the advice by mentioned above worked at all. However, running the following commands (as pointed out in a different post) worked for me :
sudo addgroup flirimaging
sudo usermod -a -G flirimaging "username"

Hello Suraj,
I just noticed you already created your own thread.
Could you please try to start SpinView as sudo to see if that helps? If it does, you probably did not configure the udev rules correctly when prompted during the installation. In that case, please try to install Spinnaker again and follow all the prompts of the installation script.Best regards,
Manuel
