Number of the USB3 lanes on Quartet TX2 8GB

Good morning,

I would like to connect 4 Blackfly S USB3 (IMX264) board level cameras to your Quartet TX2 8 GB board, by means of the 4 onboard TF-38 connectors, and save the acquired data on an external SSD; having some concerns about the transfer speed, I would like to know how these 4 TF-38 are connected to the TX2 SoM (in particular if they are all connected to a single lane/BUS, as if employing the 4-port FPC to USB3.1 HUB, or there are more "real" USB3 buses in order to reach 5 Gbps).

  Hello Carlo,

  The 4 FPC connectors on the quartet are independent USB3 buses.  You can run 4 cameras on those ports at full USB3 bandwidth.
