In some of our machine vision cameras, configuring IP address is not enough to ensure IP is retained on camera after restarting host computer. Camera may require to be power cycled as a final step to ensure IP address is properly updated in camera memory. If camera is powered via GPIO line, it may require disconnecting both ethernet and GPIO power source. Otherwise, removing ethernet cable or completely shorting down system should be enough to power cycle the camera.
Another cause of camera losing persistent IP address could point to firmware bug. In that case, user could open support ticket via our contact link https://flir.custhelp.com/app/ask to double check if their camera already has updated version of firmware with bug fix.
Hereunder are some of useful links regarding persistent IP address configuration:

Executing the device reset node on the camera should also work instead of removing the power cable.
