BFS PGE 23S3M C not updating in Spinview
AnsweredMy BFS PGE 23S3M C is unable to be used.
It appears with the device name "updater" in Spinview, but always with the exclamation point next to it, and the LED on the camera is rapidly blinking green.
I've updated the firmware, and tried to configure the network adaptor per the "getting started" guide, but have been totally unable to use the camera. Everytime it's connected, it still prompts me to update the firmware.
Can anyone help?

Hello Tom,
Did you download the correct firmware package for your camera from our website?
Could you please try our command line tool SpinUpdateConsole_v140.exe with using the force parameter?
On Windows the tool should be located at C:\Program Files\FLIR Systems\Spinnaker\bin64\vs2015 .
You can view an explanation of the tool when you run "SpinUpdateConsole_v140 --help".Example using force parameter:
SpinUpdateConsole_v140.exe -R.* "C:\temp\firmware_file.ez2" -FPlease try up to five attempts.
Thanks,

Hello Tom,
Did updating with the command line parameters mentioned above help? If your camera is stuck in Updator mode and updating with the correct firmware continues to fail, there is likely something wrong with the camera. We should take it back on RMA.
Please create an RMA ticket at www.flir.com/contact/mv-service and we can work on fixing the camera for you.
