BlackflyS PGE camera sometimes stops transmitting data
AnsweredThe BlackflyS PGE cameras can possibly get in a state where they stop transmitting data during certain high traffic situations, or when there are more packet resend requests than can be handled by the camera.
New firmware for the BlackflyS PGE cameras being released in 2024 will have these issues resolved. This can be seen by firmware that starts with the numbers 24, such as 2403.0.112.0.
Our first release with these changes was for the IMX547 camera (BFS-PGE-50S4). The qualified firmware for this model can be downloaded on our box site.
For the latest shipping firmware for all our cameras, please check and download it from our downloads tab on the camera model support page, for example Blackfly S GigE | Teledyne FLIR.
For beta firmware with these fixes before it is released to production, please contact our support team at http://flir.custhelp.com/app/ask.
