Flir Camera ELARA™ FC-Series ID and Heat motion in Milestone

I'm trying to understand how to get the Flir camera to register an alarm and how to separate Standard motion alarm from Heat motion alarm.
The camera in question is a part of a Milestone Corporate license, but also needs to set an alarm in Pacom/Unison system.
Shouldn't the camera have a specific driver for Flir Camera in Milestone?
I see the customer have set it to onvif.
As a work around for now the alarm is sent to an Adam I/O module output and connected to input in the same device in order to set an alarm in the alarms system in Unison.
Is there an example on how Flir Camera should be connected and configured in Milestone?
