    Hello Christian,

Could you double check that camera IP address is in the same subnet to the NIC? Otherwise, I would reconfigure NIC via Spinview as follows:

    • Right-click on the very NIC camera is connected to via spinView device pane
    • Go to "GigE Configuration"
    • Select "Configure Adapter Properties" from drop down list

Please let me know if that helps to enumerate the camera.

    Best regards,

    Ifeanyi

    Hi Ifeanyi,

The IP addresses match up. This does not seem to be the issue. Do you have any other suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Hello Christian,

Another customer reported similar issue on their virtual machine, although we have tested this on our host machine with spinnaker 4.0 and it was working fine. Customer downgraded to spinnaker 3.2 and was able to stream images from VM.

What is the topology of the network camera is connected to? Do you see similar issue downgrading to spinnaker 3.2 ? https://www.flir.eu/products/spinnaker-sdk/?vertical=machine+vision&segment=iis

    Best regards,

    Ifeanyi

    Hi Ifeanyi,

Thanks kindly for helping me out with this. I wanted to let you know what the issue was. As suggested by the support team I tried the camera with an older laptop with an integrated network adapter instead of using a Ethernet to USB-C cable. This did the trick. The camera was immediately recognized and I can work with it using the Spinnaker-SDK version 4 together with the Python API.
    Thank you for your help.
