FLIR AX-8 Camera
AnsweredInitially after connecting to the interface of the FLIR AX-8 camera. I mainly was focused on getting the I/O working. Specifically I want to connect a microcontroller that would output a signal in order to trigger an alarm and capture an image. I started off with connecting two pins from the camera 8-pin pigtail connector. These pins specifically DIG_IN & DIG_RTN, in which the DIG_IN was connected to a single GPIO pin, and the DIG_RTN was connected to GND. After having that connected I moved forward to setting up the interface to alarm whenever a signal is detected, triggering the alarm on (1). Which would it would require a signal of 1.8V. I have tried multiple methods and nothing is working out. Was wondering as a last resort if anyone has any suggestions.

Hello Sebastian,
I am very sorry for the late reply on this question.
Unfortunately, or forum focuses on the machine vision visible light cameras (Teledyne IIS), and we can not help with questions about the FLIR AX-8 here.
For support with your FLIR device, please go to the cameras support page (Support for FLIR AX8 (Automation) | Teledyne FLIR) and select the contact support button. This will give you forms or a phone number to get the support you need.
I hope you have already done that by now, and I sincerely apologize for the delayed response.
