    Hello Jonghak,

Thank you for the question.  Currently, as of Spinnaker 3.2, you are correct that we only support up to Python 3.10.  We are working on 2 enhancements right now.

    1.  As of our next Spinnaker release (Spinnaker 3.3 or Spinnaker 4.1), our PySpin 3.10 will support the newer Numpy 2.X libraries.

    2.  Once we move to support Ubuntu 24.04, we will support the newer Python release as well.  In the meantime, please make a support ticket at flir.custhelp.com/app/ask and we can look at building a custom Python 3.12 release for your OS.

    Thank you,

    Demos

    Hello Sam,

As it is not part of our installer yet, if you would like us to build you a release for Python 3.12 on windows, please create a support ticket with us at flir.custhelp.com/app/ask.  Select Spinnaker as your product, and our team will send you a beta version until we have it officially supported.

    Thank you,

    Demos

I was curious if there was an update on when newer numpy libraries will be supported or support for Python 3.12?

    Hi Jason,

We should be able to provide a PySpin version supporting numpy 2.x and Python 3.12. What operating system are you targeting?
Would you mind opening a support ticket at flir.custhelp.com/app/ask ?

    Thanks,
    Markus
