Automatic Image Saving Upon External Trigger

Is it possible to have the camera save images directly to the disk, upon receiving an external trigger signal, without opening the recording window and pressing "Start Recording"?

  Yes, that is possible.  To do so, you would need to use a console application. We have example code, such as the Trigger example, which can be modified to work exactly to your application requirements; the example code we have is available in C++/C#/Python.

  The Spinnaker SDK comes included with all of our example code.  Assuming you did a default, complete installation of the Spinnaker SDK, you can find the examples at C:\Program Files\Teledyne\Spinnaker\src
