PySpin running on MacOS 14 (Sonoma)
I have a FLIR BFS-U3-16S2C-CS with Spinnaker SDK -- 4.1.0.172 and am having some trouble making it work on my Apple Silicon MacBook. I have been able to verify the camera functions using the SpinView_QT app with difficulty: Mostly have to change acquisition settings until (for reasons I have not yet pinned down) it will deliver an image and then ultimately will stream video after more fiddling with settings. 2 out of the 3 times that I have started the app it ultimately falls into a spinning beachball which after many minutes I've had to force quit.
I am also unable to get PySpin installed as there are no whl files in the distribution matching the Sonoma major version number (14) -- even though the release notes say that the SDK has been tested on Sonoma with Apple silicon (https://www.teledynevisionsolutions.com/support/support-center/technical-guidance/iis/spinnaker-sdk-release-notes/). There seem to be three for 13.0, each supporting different python versions.
Has anybody gotten further with Sonoma on Apple silicon?

Hello Mark,
Sorry for the delay, we have been hit by spam bots so we had to hold all posts and manually approve them, and your post was mixed in with hundreds of spam posts and it was lost in the mix.
I have personally tried Spinnaker 4.1 on Sonoma on a M2 Mac Mini with no issue, but I did not try PySpin in this version. I will test this and get back to you to see if there is an issue with the MacOS PySpin in Sonoma.
Thank you,
