Blackfly S sensor size for calibration
AnsweredWe are using BFS-PGE-200S6. The camera matrix for calibration requires the focal length of the lens in image pixel units and therefore we need to know the exact size of the sensor so that we can divide it by the resolution used to get the exact unit for the calibration matrix. Do you have an accurate measurement of the sensor size?

Hello Steven,
Sorry for the delay, we are sorting through hundred of spam bot messages and your post was lost in the mix.
This camera uses the IMX183 sensor. This sensor has a pixel size of 2.4um. I assume you are looking for the active size of the matrix, so that would be the 2.4um time the resolution.
Overall package size is 20.00 x 16.8mm and it is officially a 15.86mm Diagonal sensor, but that would include all the pixels that are not actively being used (extra lines, optical black pixels, etc.). The total number of pixels on this sensor is 5640x3710, but some of those are not used.
I hope this helps provide the information you are looking for.
Thank you,
Demos
