Why do I have white pixels in my image?
I see white pixels in my image when I am imaging in the dark or when my lens cap is on. Why do I get these, and how do I get rid of them?

We test all cameras for defect pixels before we ship them. Depending on the camera model we can correct a certain number of defect pixels on the camera.
However, defective pixel do appear over time. Also, pixels that passed our manufacturing tests may appear as defective when the camera uses a longer exposure time or a higher gain setting. Our tool SpinPixelCorrection in the bin or bin64 folder of your Spinnaker installation allows you to correct additional defect pixels using your own exposure time and gain settings.
